The combined focus of the three organizations, the Orton Gillingham Academy (OGA), the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), and Wilson Language Training\u00ae\u00a0(WLT) is training teachers who are competent and credentialed to teach individuals with dyslexia. These educators use multisensory structured literacy curricula during a practicum experience under the supervision of a trained expert.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">Bookshare\u00ae<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bookshare.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bookshare\u00ae<\/a>\u00a0is an online library for people with print disabilities. More than 425,000 people in 70 countries have access to Bookshare\u2019s collection of over 570,000 titles. More than 820 U.S. and international publishers contribute to Bookshare\u2019s social mission by donating their digital files, making it possible for Bookshare to serve users around the world and ensuring that content is available to people with print disabilities at the same time as their peers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">Center of Technology and Disability<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.air.org\/project\/center-technology-and-disability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Center on Technology and Disability<\/a>\u00a0(CTD) is funded by the U.S. Department of Education\u2019s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The Center is designed to increase the capacity of families and providers to advocate for, acquire, and implement effective assistive and instructional technology (AT\/IT) practices, devices, and services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">Council for Exceptional Children, Division of Learning Disabilities<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/exceptionalchildren.org\/topics\/learning-disabilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Division for Learning Disabilities<\/a>\u00a0(DLD) is one of 17 special interest groups of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, including both students with disabilities and the gifted.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">Council of Learning Disabilities<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/council-for-learning-disabilities.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Council for Learning Disabilities<\/a>\u00a0(CLD), an international organization composed of professionals who represent diverse disciplines, is committed to enhancing the education and quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities across the life span. CLD accomplishes this by promoting and disseminating evidence-based research and practices related to the education of individuals with learning disabilities. NCLD is working to create a society in which every individual possesses the academic, social, and emotional skills needed to succeed in school, at work, and in life. Its mission is to increase access to and use of evidence-based approaches to screen, identify, and teach students with literacy-related disabilities, including dyslexia.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">In pursuit of its broad mission,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nichd.nih.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NICHD<\/a>\u00a0conducts and supports laboratory research, clinical trials, and epidemiological studies that explore health processes; examines the impact of disabilities, diseases, and variations on the lives of individuals; and sponsors training programs for scientists, health care providers, and researchers to ensure that NICHD research can continue.
